Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website or request a quote, how we use it, and the providers that help us process it.
Please note: this is a plain-English template provided for transparency. It is not legal advice. Solar Hub Fiji should have this policy reviewed by a Fiji-qualified lawyer before relying on it.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Solar Hub Fiji Pte Ltd ("Solar Hub Fiji", "we", "us" or "our"), operating in the Republic of Fiji, handles personal information collected through this website (https://www.solarhubfiji.com) and our quoting process.
2. What we collect
When you submit a quote, contact or booking form, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, town or property address, and any notes about your power use or requirements. When you browse the site, we and our providers may collect technical information such as your device, browser, approximate location and how you interact with pages.
3. How we use it
We use your information to prepare your quote and system design, to contact you about your enquiry, to arrange site visits and installation, to provide ongoing support, and to improve our website and services. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Service providers we use
To run the website and respond to enquiries we rely on a small number of third-party processors. Depending on which features are enabled, these include:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) — when you submit a form, your details are sent to and stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, GoHighLevel (operating as LeadConnector), which we use to manage and follow up your enquiry.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — when enabled, we use GA4 to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed). This uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect a pseudonymised identifier and usage data.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — when enabled, the Meta Pixel helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and may share limited event data (such as a page view or a form submission) with Meta.
- Google Places — when enabled, our address fields use Google Places to suggest and autocomplete addresses as you type, which involves sending what you type to Google.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms, and some may store or process data outside Fiji. We share only what is needed for each provider's function.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and, where enabled, for analytics and advertising measurement (GA4 and the Meta Pixel above). You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and provide our services, and after that for as long as reasonably required for legitimate business, warranty or legal purposes.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work with reputable providers and limit access to your data.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. To make a request, use the contact details below. We will respond in line with applicable Fiji law.
9. Children
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here is the current one and applies to your use of the site.
11. Contact us
For any privacy question or request, contact us at Garden City Complex, Raiwai, Unit 18A, Floor 1, Suva, Fiji, call 1566, or email [email protected].
