Commercial · FijiTewaka Transfers — Solar Hub EV Fast Charging
Solar Hub Fiji installed an 80kW DC fast EV charger for Tewaka — a 100% Fijian-owned electric transfer service — charging its Maxus Mifa 9 fleet from 0–100% in about an hour.

What this install shows
This project delivers electric-vehicle charging (our 'Drive on Sunshine' 80kW DC fast charger). Charging infrastructure is the less visible half of Fiji's shift to electric transport, and it is the half that decides whether an electric fleet actually works day to day. An EV is only as clean as the electricity behind it, which is why we design charging alongside solar generation wherever a site allows it.
For a commercial operation, charging is also a planning question: where vehicles stop, how long they can wait, and what the switchboard can support. We engineer the charger, the electrical infrastructure and the generation as one system rather than three separate purchases.
We publish full equipment specifications only when they come straight from the engineering proposal, never from memory and never invented. For this project the detailed specs live in the customer's proposal; the photos below show the finished work.
Built for sun, heat and cyclones
Every Solar Hub Fiji project is engineer-designed for local conditions: strong year-round sun, tropical heat and humidity, and cyclone season. Mounting is cyclone-rated and engineered for high wind loads, equipment is tier-1, and our own team handles installation with Energy Fiji Limited paperwork managed end to end.
Thinking about something similar for your organisation? Our EV charging page covers solar-powered charging for fleets and sites, and our commercial solar team scopes the generation side with a free site assessment.
DC fast EV charging
Solar Hub Fiji installed an 80kW DC fast EV charger — our 'Drive on Sunshine' charging unit with dual CCS2 connectors — for Tewaka's electric transfer fleet. It charges a Maxus Mifa 9 from 0–100% in about an hour, keeping the vehicles on the road with minimal downtime.
